Salem is a town in Sweden. It's the main town of the Salem area, which is called a 'municipality.' Salem is located in Stockholm County. It's also part of a larger city area called Tumba, which spreads across two different municipalities.
In 2005, about 14,171 people lived in Salem. By 2008, this number grew to around 16,000. And by 2020, nearly 17,000 people called Salem home.
