Early Life and Learning

Sally Dominguez was born in Australia on October 24, 1969. She went to the Sydney Church of England Grammar School from 1978 to 1986. This was an all-girls school in Sydney, Australia. While there, she enjoyed school musicals, played in the orchestra, and took part in sports like field hockey and track and field.

From 1988 to 1993, Sally studied at the University of Sydney. She earned degrees in architecture. During her time at university, she wrote and performed for the Sydney University architecture show. She also led the Sydney University Windsurfing Club.

Amazing Inventions and Designs

From 2000 to 2008, Sally was the founder and creative director of a company called BUG Design. At BUG Design, she worked on designs that were good for the environment. She created the award-winning Nest high chair. This high chair is now kept in the Powerhouse Museum's collection. It won many awards because it was safe, practical, and looked great. She also designed a Nest low chair and a Nuzzle cup holder table to go with the high chair.
