Early Life and Music Education
Salvador Mas i Conde was born in Barcelona, Spain. He began his music journey at Escolania de Montserrat, a famous music school. He continued his studies at the Conservatorio Superior Municipal de Música of Barcelona. Later, he learned from important music teachers like Bruno Maderna in Salzburg, Franco Ferrara in Siena, and Hans Swarowsky and Günther Theuring in Vienna.
Awards and Recognition
Salvador Mas i Conde received awards from the FEV and the Austrian Ministry of Culture. He also won an award in the Second International Hans Swarowsky Orchestra Conducting Competition in Vienna. These awards showed his great talent in conducting.

Salvador Mas i Conde has had a long and successful career. He worked at the opera house of Mainz. From 1978 to 1981, he was the main conductor of the Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra. He also returned to this orchestra later as a main guest conductor.
