Where is San Luis Located?
San Luis is found at Kilometre 63 along the Ruta Interbalnearia, which is a main road connecting different beach towns. To its east, you'll find the resort of Los Titanes. To the west, it borders Guazú - Virá. The Arroyo del Bagre, a small stream, forms a natural boundary with Guazú - Virá.
History
Becoming a Village
San Luis officially became a "Pueblo," which means a village, on October 15, 1963. This change in its status was made possible by a special law, Ley Nº 13.167. This was an important step in its development.
