Sandra Barneda Valls (born 4 October 1975) is a Spanish journalist, TV presenter, actress, and writer. She is well-known for hosting many popular TV shows in Spain.
About Sandra Barneda
Sandra Barneda was born in Barcelona, Spain, on 4 October 1975. She studied journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She also went to the Barcelona School of Theater to learn acting.
Sandra has worked for many different radio and TV channels. These include Catalunya Ràdio, RNE4, Antena 3, Telemadrid, and Telecinco. She has also written for magazines like Elle and newspapers like El Periódico de Catalunya.
Early Career and Acting
In the early 2000s, Sandra started taking on acting roles. In 2001, she joined the play Aprobado en castidad. She also appeared in TV series such as Al salir de clase and Javier ya no vive solo.
Becoming a TV Presenter
On 4 May 2009, Sandra began presenting De buena ley on Telecinco. This was a show about legal cases. She worked with Alberto Herrera, and later Emilio Pineda, on the program.
In May 2010, Sandra became a presenter on La Noria. This show discussed different topics and current events. She then co-presented El gran debate from 2012 to 2013.
During the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015, she hosted El programa del verano. She worked alongside Joaquín Prat on this show.
From 2014 to 2016, Sandra presented Hable con ellas. This was an evening talk show on Telecinco. She also hosted Un tiempo nuevo, a debate show, from 2014 to 2015.
In 2016, Sandra started presenting the reality show Gran Hermano VIP on Sunday nights. She also led the debate parts of Survivor Spain from 2016 to 2018.
Sandra Barneda as a Writer
Sandra Barneda is also a successful writer. On 10 April 2013, she published her first novel, Reír al viento. Later that year, she released her second book, Cómo construir una superheroína.
Her novel La tierra de las mujeres was published on 15 October 2014. She has continued to write, publishing more books like Hablarán de nosotras and Las hijas del agua.
