About Sandra Lyng
Sandra Lyng Haugen grew up in Mosjøen, a town in Norway. She became well-known in 2004 when she took part in the Norwegian TV show Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne. This show is like the American Pop Idol. Sandra finished in fourth place, which was a great achievement!
After Idol, Sandra released her first song, a summer hit called "Sommerflørt" in 2004. She sang this song with a musician named Phillip.
In 2005, her song "I morgen" was very popular. It stayed on the Norwegian music charts for 16 weeks and reached number 2! That same year, she released her first album, Døgnvill. This album was also a success, staying on the charts for 9 weeks and reaching number 10.
Later, in 2013, Sandra released another song called "PRTeY" with rapper Lazee. In 2023, Sandra took part in Melodi Grand Prix 2023, a big music competition in Norway. She sang the song "Drøm D Bort" but did not make it to the final round.
