Santa Bárbara is a charming town and municipality located in the beautiful Colombian department of Antioquia. It's part of the Southwestern region. This town sits in a lovely valley, about a 2.5-hour drive from the big city of Medellín. Santa Bárbara is quite high up, at an elevation of 1,800 meters (about 5,900 feet) above sea level.
