Satara Melonie Murray (born 1 July 1993) is a retired professional footballer. She played as a defender for various clubs. Her last club was Sheffield United in England. She also played for the Jamaica women's national football team.
Satara has played for English teams like Liverpool and Bristol City. She also played for Racing Louisville and Houston Dash in the NWSL. In Norway, she played for Kolbotn Fotball. Satara was born in the United States. She chose to represent Jamaica in international football.
She was born in New York and grew up in Texas. Satara won a national championship in college with the North Carolina Tar Heels. She started her professional career in 2015 with Liverpool.

College Football Career
Satara Murray had a great college career. She played 85 games for the North Carolina Tar Heels. She helped her team win their 21st national championship in 2012. Because of her strong play, she was named an All-American twice. She was also named the best defensive player at the 2012 NCAA College Cup.

Playing for Liverpool
In 2015, Satara signed with Liverpool. At that time, Liverpool was the champion of the FA Women's Super League for two years in a row. During her time with the club, she played 68 games. She played as a centre-back and a right-back. She scored two goals for Liverpool.
Time with Houston Dash
The Houston Dash team chose Satara Murray to join them for their 2019 season. She was excited to play in her home state of Texas.
Playing for Kolbotn

International Football Career
Satara Murray was born in the United States. She could have played for several national teams. She was eligible for England because her mother was born in London. She could also play for Jamaica through her father's family. Her grandparents also made her eligible for Antigua and Barbuda or Guyana.
In 2010, Guyana's team considered Satara for their squad. However, she did not play for Guyana. After moving to Liverpool, she was called up to the England U23 team in 2016. She attended two training camps.
On 24 October 2021, Satara Murray played her first senior international game for Jamaica.
