Scott Fetgatter (born July 4, 1968) is a politician from the Choctaw Nation who serves in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He has represented the 16th district since 2016. He was re-elected without opposition in 2020.

About Scott Fetgatter
Early Life and Family
Scott Fetgatter grew up in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. His family moved there in 1972. He is married to Kim, and they have two children, Cody and Meagan. They also have four grandchildren.
Before becoming a politician, Scott owned a company that built special structures, like those you might see at theme parks. He also worked in sales and marketing for a technology company and in the grocery business.
Serving Oklahoma in Politics
Scott Fetgatter is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He strongly supports the rights and independence of tribal nations. At the same time, he works to represent the interests of the state of Oklahoma. He helps tribal and state groups work together.
He enjoys helping the people in his district, House District 16, with their everyday needs.
Legislative Work and Achievements
Helping Oklahoma's Economy Grow
As a new lawmaker, Scott Fetgatter played a big part in helping the aerospace industry in Oklahoma. He helped extend special tax benefits for eight years. This made it easier for aerospace companies to grow and create jobs.
After these changes, the aerospace industry became the second-largest part of Oklahoma's economy. It even grew bigger than agriculture.
Scott also created the Automotive Engineering Tax Credit. This helps car-related engineering companies. He also helped get four million dollars for a special fund. This fund helps the Governor bring new businesses to Oklahoma quickly. These actions show his dedication to making Oklahoma's economy strong and stable.
Supporting the Film Industry
In 2021, Scott Fetgatter wrote a law called the "Filmed in Oklahoma Act." This law made Oklahoma one of the best places in the country for making movies and TV shows.
Thanks to this law, many famous productions have been filmed in Oklahoma. These include the movies Killers of the Flower Moon and the TV series Reservation Dogs. Many other smaller films and documentaries have also been made there.
Leadership in Committees
For six years, Scott Fetgatter was the Chairman of the House A&B Finance Committee. In this role, he led efforts to create rules that help businesses succeed in Oklahoma.
