Scotty Cranmer (born January 11, 1987) is an amazing American BMX rider. He is known for his incredible skills on a bike and for winning many medals at big events like the X Games. Scotty has won nine X Games BMX Park medals, which is a lot! He has three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals.

People sometimes call him "the Bulldozer" because of his powerful riding style. He is supported by cool brands like Vans Shoes, Hyper Bike Co., Fox Clothing, Pro-tec Helmets, Monster Energy, and Snafu. Scotty also owns a bike shop in Howell, NJ, called SC Action Sports Bicycle Shop.

Besides riding, Scotty is very popular on YouTube. His channel, also called Scotty Cranmer, has over 1.71 million subscribers! He makes fun videos with his friends, showing them riding at skateparks, driving cars, and playing games while on their bikes. His younger brother, Matty, often appears in these videos too.

Scotty Cranmer's Injury and Recovery

On October 12, 2016, Scotty had a serious accident while riding his BMX bike. He landed a trick but rolled into a hole, causing him to flip over and land on his head. Even though he was wearing a helmet, he hurt his head and some bones in his neck and back. This type of injury is called a spinal cord injury.

After the accident, Scotty worked very hard to recover. He has made a lot of progress and can now do many things. While he can still ride a BMX bike for fun and exercise, he no longer competes professionally.

Scotty has found new ways to stay involved in the BMX world. He still runs his bike shop, SC Action Sports. He also continues to make videos for his popular YouTube channel, inspiring many young riders. Scotty even helps mentor younger riders and has worked as a commentator for big BMX events, including the X Games. His story shows how strong and determined he is.
