Sedan, Ohio facts for kids
Sedan is a small place in Scioto County, Ohio, in the United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and buildings that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or a village would.
History
Sedan got its own post office in 1871. A post office was very important back then because it was the main way people sent and received letters and packages. This post office served the community for many years, but it eventually closed down in 1918. Besides the post office, Sedan also had at least two churches in its early days. Churches were often central gathering places for people in small communities.
