Nathan
Nathan is Simon's best friend. He also has a family of four, but his parents are separated. He has a younger sister named Fiona. Nathan is thin and small. He has brown hair. Nathan treats Simon like a brother because they are very close friends.

Alex Wilson
Alex is one of Nathan and Simon’s rivals at school. He is known as the school bully. We don't learn much about how Alex looks, but Nathan often calls him names like 'ape' or 'monkey'. Alex isn't the smartest kid. Nathan jokes that "his brain is rolling around in his head." Even though Alex is a bully, he showed a sensitive side when Simon passed away.
Brady West
Brady is thought to be the prettiest girl in Nathan’s and Simon’s class. She has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a great sense of style. Nathan has a really big crush on her!
Nathan's Mom
Nathan’s Mum has two children, Nathan and Fiona. She also owns a dog that is a mix of a Labrador and a Brontosaurus (which is a funny way to describe it!). We don't know her name or what she looks like, but she is a kind lady. She is a single mother who gives her ex-husband another chance.
