Shōryaku facts for kids
Shōryaku (正暦) was a special name used for a period of time in Japanese history. Think of it like a specific "era" or "age." This era came after the Eiso period and before the Chōtoku period. The Shōryaku era began in November 990 and lasted until February 995. During this time, the emperor ruling Japan was known as Emperor Ichijō.
