Music Career
In 1999, Shabaam Sahdeeq teamed up with DJ Spinna, Mr. Complex, and Apani B. They created the hip-hop group Polyrhythm Addicts. This group was very important in the independent hip-hop scene of the late 1990s. Their song "Not Your Ordinary" was a big hit. It led to their first album, Rhyme Related, which came out on June 9, 1999. Critics said the album was "full of quality." After this success, the group decided to focus on their individual music careers.
In his solo career, Sahdeeq worked with many top rappers. These include Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, and Eminem. His special voice and way of rapping helped him become very popular.
