Shaleise Law's Early Life
Shaleise Law was born in Townsville, Queensland, in 1998. Her family has roots in the Wakka Wakka and Kamilaroi Indigenous Australian groups. Before she joined the big leagues, she played football for the Zillmere Eagles club.
Her AFLW Journey
Shaleise was chosen by the Brisbane Lions in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She was the 95th player picked that year. She played her very first game for the Lions on February 5, 2017. This was a special game because it was the first-ever game for the Brisbane Lions in the AFL Women's league. They played against the Melbourne team at Casey Fields.
After the 2017 season, Shaleise Law left the Brisbane Lions team.
