In 2014, Shannon Wilson and her stepson, JJ Wilson, started a new clothing company called Kit and Ace. This company became known for its fancy T-shirts. These T-shirts were made from a special mix of fabrics that included soft cashmere. The very first Kit and Ace store, which was a temporary "pop-up" shop, opened in Vancouver in July 2014.

Supporting Education in Ethiopia
In 2007, Shannon Wilson and her husband, Chip Wilson (who started Lululemon Athletica), created a non-profit group called imagine1day. This organization works to make sure that 80 percent of children in Ethiopia can go to primary school by the year 2030.
Art and Nature Donations
In 2012, the Wilson family gave $1.5 million to the Vancouver Biennale. This money helped pay for a large metal sculpture called A-maze-ing Laughter. This artwork was designed by Yue Minjun and can be seen in Morton Park in Vancouver.
Later, in 2022, the Wilsons made a huge donation of $100 million to the BC Parks Foundation. This was the largest gift ever given for conservation in Canadian history. It helps protect and save the natural environment of British Columbia.

In 2024, Shannon Wilson showed her very first art collection to the public. She named this collection Organic Formulas.

Honorary Degrees
Shannon Wilson has received special honors for her work. In 2014, she was given an honorary doctorate from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. This is a special degree given to people who have achieved great things, even if they didn't study there. In 2015, both she and her husband received another honorary doctorate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
