Shanti Lowry is an American actress and dancer. She was born on April 2, 1982, and her full name is Ashanti Misha Lowry. You might know her from the movie Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, where she played the Treasure Chest Dancer. She also had a regular role as Dionne Taylor in the TV series The Game. Shanti Lowry studied dance at the Rocky Mountain School of Dance. In 1999, she moved to Los Angeles to start her career. She wanted to be an actress and a dancer. Her very first role was in a dance movie. This movie was not released in the United States or the United Kingdom. Many of her future roles also used her dance skills.
Shanti had a smaller role in the third season of The Game. This was because she was busy filming the movie Bolden! in 2010. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy award in both 2019 and 2020. These nominations were for her excellent acting as Yolanda Rodriguez in the show Bronx SIU. A Daytime Emmy is a special award for TV shows that are usually watched during the day.
