Shari Arison was born in New York City. Her father was Ted Arison, who started Carnival Cruise Lines. Her mother was Mina Arison Sapir. Shari has an older brother named Micky.
Moving Between Countries
In 1966, her parents divorced. Shari moved to Israel to live with her mother. When she was 12, she moved back to the U.S. to live with her father. Five years later, she returned to Israel. She joined the Israel Defense Forces, which is Israel's army. In 1999, her father passed away. He left her 35% of his belongings and businesses.
