Sharif Atkins, born on January 29, 1975, is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Dr. Michael Gallant in the TV show ER. He also played FBI Agent Clinton Jones in White Collar. More recently, he was Captain Norman 'Boom Boom' Gates in NCIS: Hawaiʻi.

Sharif Atkins was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He went to Northwestern University and earned a degree in theater and speech in 1997. After college, in 1998, he studied acting in Los Angeles. This helped him get started in movies and TV shows.
Sharif Atkins' Acting Career
Sharif Atkins became famous for his role as Dr. Michael Gallant on the medical drama ER. He joined the show in 2001. He was a main character until 2004. He later made guest appearances on ER until 2006. His character, Dr. Gallant, was a U.S. Army doctor.
