Sheldry Nazareth Sáez Bustavino, born on January 15, 1992, in Chitré, Herrera, Panama, is a talented Panamanian dancer, model, and TV host. She is well-known for winning the Miss Panamá 2011 beauty pageant. After winning, she represented Panama in the Miss Universe 2011 competition and made it into the Top 10 finalists.
Becoming a Model
Sheldry Sáez began her modeling journey in 2007. This was when she won a contest called "Wilhelmina Model Search." Winning this contest helped her start working with Wilhelmina Panama Talents, which became her main modeling agency.
Winning Miss Panamá 2011
Sheldry Sáez, who is 1.73 meters (about 5 feet 8 inches) tall, competed in the Miss Panamá 2011 national beauty pageant. She represented the Herrera province. During the competition, she won several special awards. These included Best Fantasy Costume, Miss Photogenic, and the "Misses Council" award. This last award was given by a group of judges who were former beauty queens themselves. In the end, Sheldry won the main title of Miss Panamá Universo.
Competing in Miss Universe 2011
After winning Miss Panamá, Sheldry Sáez represented her country, Panama, in the 60th Miss Universe 2011 pageant. This big event took place in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 12, 2011. Sheldry did very well, placing in the Top 10 finalists. She also won the Best National Costume Award for her amazing outfit that represented Panama's culture.
