Shelia Marie Goss (born September 16, 1968) is an American author, freelance writer, and screenwriter. She is known for writing many popular books, especially romantic fiction.

Early Life and Education

Shelia Goss was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. She grew up there with her two brothers. Her parents always taught her that education was very important. After high school, Shelia went to Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 1990, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked in different companies.

Becoming a Writer

Shelia Goss has written many books that have become very popular. Her books have been featured by "Black Expressions," which is a well-known book club. Her stories have also appeared in Essence magazine. Some of her famous books include My Invisible Husband and Roses are Thorns, Violets are True. She was even listed in a special book called "Literary Divas: The Top 100+ Most Admired African-American Women in Literature." This book celebrates amazing African-American women writers.

Besides writing novels, Shelia Goss also works as a managing editor and writer for E-Spire Entertainment News. In February 2008, she released her fourth novel, Double Platinum, which was also very successful.
