Helping Teachers in Baghlan
In 2009, Shukria Asil did something very important. Three women teachers in a place called Baghlan were fired from their jobs. This happened because some bad information about them was shared by the Ministry of Education. Shukria Asil worked to fix this problem. She successfully helped these teachers get their jobs back. This showed how dedicated she is to fairness and supporting women.
Working for Her Community
Shukria Asil has held important roles in her community. In 2010, she was one of only four women who were part of the Baghlan Provincial Council. This council helps make decisions for the province. By 2012, she became the head of the Baghlan Provincial Culture and Information Department. In this role, she helped manage cultural activities and shared important information with the public.

Shukria Asil has done much more to help women. She has created groups where women can meet and support each other.
