Silvia Toffanin started her journey in the entertainment world in 1997. She took part in the "Miss Italia" beauty pageant that year.

In 2000, she made her first appearance on television. She joined the popular quiz show Passaparola on Canale 5. On this show, she was one of the dancers and worked alongside host Gerry Scotti. Silvia stayed with Passaparola until 2002.

After Passaparola, Silvia took on new roles. In 2002, she became the host of the late-night show Nonsolomoda. She continued to host this show until 2009. In 2003, she presented Moda mare a Porto Cervo. Later that year, she also hosted the Saturday afternoon show Mosquito on Italia 1, which she continued until 2004.

A big change in her career happened in September 2006. Silvia Toffanin became the new host of Verissimo. This show, aired on Canale 5, changed its schedule from daily to Saturday afternoons that year. Silvia still hosts Verissimo today.

Since 2001, Silvia Toffanin has been in a relationship with Pier Silvio Berlusconi. They have two children together. Their son, Lorenzo Mattia, was born on June 10, 2010. Their daughter, Sofia Valentina, was born in 2015.
