Sini-Maria Makkonen (born on February 22, 1986), known professionally as Sini Sabotage, is a talented rapper from Finland.
Music Journey
Sini Sabotage started her music career by appearing as a guest artist on albums by popular Finnish musicians like Cheek and JVG. She also worked as a DJ, playing music at different events.
In 2013, she signed with PME Records, a music company founded by the group JVG. That same year, she released her very first hit song, "Levikset repee", in April. This song became super popular and reached the number one spot on the Finnish Singles Chart!
Later in 2013, Sini Sabotage also became one of the judges on the sixth season of the Finnish TV show Idols. This show helps new singers become famous. Her first album, called 22 m², was released on December 5, 2013.
In January 2024, it was announced that Sini Sabotage would take part in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2024. This is the Finnish competition to choose a song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Her song for the competition was "Kuori mua".
