Siverly is a small place in Ohio, a state in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and people, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or a town does. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Swan Township in Vinton County.
A Look Back: Siverly's History
Siverly had a post office that opened a long time ago, in 1869. A post office is where people send and receive letters and packages. This post office helped the people living in Siverly for many years. However, it closed down in 1898. The community of Siverly was named after an early postmaster, a person who managed the post office, named John Silvery Witherspoon.
