Awesome Terrain Park Features

Ski Bradford has a pretty big terrain park. The park's layout changes each year, so there's always something new to try!

You can always expect to find a small half-pipe in the park. There are also several rails, like an A-frame rail and box. You'll usually see two or three down rails and two small boxes for beginners. The park often has one large jump, called a kicker, and a few smaller ramps too.

Ski Lift System

Ski Bradford has eight lifts that help you get up the mountain. These lifts make it easy to reach all the different trails.

  • Hornet Triple Chair: This is a very popular chairlift. It was built in 1983. You can reach almost any part of the mountain after riding this lift.
  • Wasp Triple Chair: This lift was installed in 1988. It's popular with ski racers but also serves many other trails. If other lifts have long lines, this one can be a good choice.
  • Evvy's Double Nickel Triple Chair: This lift was added in 2003. It mainly takes you to the terrain park.
  • Hornet T-Bar: This T-bar lift was built in 1971. It often runs when the line for the Hornet chairlift gets long.
  • Stinger Rope Tow: This is the main rope tow for the beginner area. It's a bit longer than the other rope tows.
  • Queen Rope Tow: This is one of three rope tows in the beginner area. It runs next to the Drone rope tow.
  • Drone Rope Tow: This is another rope tow in the beginner area, running parallel to the Queen rope.
  • Roger's Carpet Conveyor: This conveyor belt lift was built in 2006. It runs across the beginner rope tow area.
  • Ken's Carpet Conveyor: This was the second conveyor lift at Ski Bradford, added in 2009. It helps skiers get to the new "Lower Honey Bee" trail.

Ski and Snowboard Lessons

Ski Bradford has many skilled teachers and offers great lesson programs. Many schools have after-school ski clubs here. Children in these clubs often take an hour-long lesson every week.

The ski area can teach many lessons at once. They can even run 30 lessons at the same time each hour! For after-school programs, lessons start every half hour between 3 PM and 5 PM. You can also get lessons if you just walk in without a plan. Many people decide to ski on a nice day and can easily get a lesson.
