South Warsaw, Ohio facts for kids
South Warsaw is a small place in Allen County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community, which means it's a group of homes and buildings that doesn't have its own local government like a city or a village does. Instead, it's usually managed by the county.
A Look at South Warsaw's History
A post office was opened in South Warsaw in 1856. This was a place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years, but it closed down in 1904.
When South Warsaw was first planned, it was divided into nine sections of land. These sections are called a plat. A plat is like a map that shows how land is divided into lots and streets.
