Southeastway Park is a super cool nature park in Indianapolis, Indiana! It's managed by the Indy Parks and Recreation Department and covers a huge 188 acres. You can find it in the southeast part of Marion County at 5624 South Carroll Road. It's a great place to explore nature and have fun outdoors.

What Can You Do at Southeastway Park?
Southeastway Park has lots of awesome things for you to do and explore!
- Trails: There's a paved trail about 2.5 miles long. It's perfect for walking, running, or riding your bike.
- Sledding Hill: When it snows, you can grab your sled and have a blast on the park's sledding hill!
- Playground: Kids can enjoy swinging, sliding, and climbing at the playground.
- Picnic Areas: The park has six shelters and three picnic sites. These are great spots to have lunch with your family or friends.
- Education Center: There's also an education center where you can learn more about nature and the park's wildlife.

Spring Fun: Maple Syrup Making
- When: Mid-February to mid-March
- What: You can learn how maple syrup is made! See how sap is collected from trees and turned into the sweet syrup you put on pancakes.
Summer Adventures: Camps and Bug Fest
- Summer Camps: From June to July, the park offers summer camps. These camps are a fantastic way to learn about nature and make new friends.
- Bug Fest: On the last Sunday in August, the park celebrates all things creepy-crawly at Bug Fest! It's a fun event to discover the amazing world of insects.
Fall Fun: Hayrides
- When: Late September to early November
- What: Enjoy a classic hayride through the park's beautiful natural areas. It's a perfect way to see the fall colors!
Exploring Nature at the Park
Southeastway Park is home to many different natural habitats. This means you can see a variety of plants and animals living here.
- Forests: About 80 acres of the park are covered in trees, creating a wonderful forest to explore.
