Exploring the Southwest Region
The Southwest Region is located in the western part of Cameroon. It covers a large area of about 25,410 square kilometers. That's roughly the size of a small country! In 2015, about 1.5 million people lived here.
The Capital City: Buea
Buea is the capital of the Southwest Region. It's a busy city with a lot of history. You can see Mount Cameroon from many parts of Buea. This makes for some amazing views! The city is also home to the University of Buea.
