Special Treat (also known as NBC Special Treat) was a cool TV show in America. It was an anthology series, which means each episode told a different, complete story. The show was made especially for teenagers, much like another popular show called ABC Afterschool Special. It first aired in 1975 and continued until the 1985–86 TV season.
After Special Treat finished, a new show called Main Street took its place in 1986. Main Street was a discussion program for teens, hosted by Bryant Gumbel.
