Eric Adiele, known professionally as Sporting Life, is an American artist who makes music. He is a record producer, a rapper, a songwriter, and also a visual artist. He is most famous for being a member of the hip hop group Ratking. This group was from New York City and included American rappers Wiki and Hak. Since his time with Ratking, Adiele has released several solo albums and shorter music collections called EPs. These were released through R&S Records.

Sporting Life's Music

Sporting Life has released many musical projects on his own. These include full-length albums and shorter collections of songs called Extended Plays (EPs).

Solo Albums

His studio albums include 55 5's, which came out in 2015. He also released HBCU Gameday and Labplex.eco in 2020. His album Higher Ground was released in 2021. All these albums were released by R&S Records.

Extended Plays (EPs)

Sporting Life also released a series of EPs called Slam Dunk. These include Slam Dunk Vol. 1, Slam Dunk Vol. 2, and Slam Dunk Vol. 3, all released in 2016. He later released the Black Diamond EP in 2019. These EPs also came out on R&S Records. In 2017, a compilation album called Slam Dunk was released, bringing together songs from his EP series.

Guest Appearances

Sporting Life has also appeared as a guest artist on other musicians' songs. For example, he was featured on the song "God Bless Me" in 2015. This song was on the album Lil Me by Wiki, and also featured Skepta.

Working as a Producer

Sporting Life is also a talented record producer. This means he helps create the sound and structure of songs for other artists. He has produced many tracks for his former group, Ratking, and for other musicians.

Early Production Work

In 2011, he produced several songs for Wiki's project 1993. The next year, in 2012, he produced most of the songs on Ratking's Wiki93. He also produced their song "100" in 2013.

Producing for Ratking

Sporting Life played a big role in producing Ratking's 2014 album, So It Goes. He produced many songs on this album, sometimes working with other producers like DJ Dog Dick and Isaiah Barr. He also produced most of the songs on Ratking's 2015 project, 700-Fill.

Producing for Other Artists

Beyond Ratking, Sporting Life has produced music for various artists. In 2015, he worked on songs for Remy Banks' album higher. and for Wiki's album Lil Me. He even created a remix for Kelela's song "Rewind" in 2015. In 2017, he made a remix for Eric Copeland's song "Rip It". He continued to produce for Wiki on albums like No Mountains in Manhattan (2017) and Oofie (2019). In 2019, he also produced a song for MIKE called "It's Like Basketball".
