Springtime is a small, quiet place in Stillwater County, Montana, United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it's a group of homes or buildings that doesn't have its own local government. Springtime sits at an elevation of 3,665 feet (about 1,117 meters) above sea level. You can find Springtime marked on the Springtime U.S. Geological Survey Map.
The History of Springtime
Long ago, Springtime was a farming area in Stillwater County. Farmers grew crops and raised animals here. To get to Springtime today, you can take Exit 400 from Interstate 90. This exit is just west of a town called Columbus.
Springtime was also located along an old train line. This line was once part of the Northern Pacific railway. Now, it is known as the Montana Rail Link. Springtime even had its own post office! It was open for many years, from 1916 to 1932. Today, only a few old farm buildings remain in Springtime.
