Building the Church
The idea for St. Faith and St. Laurence's Church began a long time ago. A skilled architect named P. B. Chatwin designed the building. Construction work on the church started in 1937. However, the building process faced a big challenge. The Second World War began, which caused work to stop. Because of this, the church was not fully finished until 1960. It took many years to complete this important building.
