The State University of Londrina (in Portuguese: Universidade Estadual de Londrina), also known by its nickname UEL, is a large public university. It is located in the city of Londrina, in the state of Paraná, Brazil. A public university is a school for higher education that is funded by the government.
UEL is one of the biggest state universities in Brazil. It attracts students from all over the country who want to continue their education after high school. The university was officially started on January 28, 1970.

Student Life
More than 17,000 students attend UEL. They are divided into two main groups:

- Postgraduate students: There are more than 4,000 of these students. They have already finished their first degree and are now studying for higher-level degrees, like a master's or a doctorate (PhD).
