Steven Tweed, born on August 8, 1972, is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. He played as a defender.
Steven started his football journey in Scotland with Hibernian. He played over 100 league games for them. In 1996, he moved to Greece to play for Ionikos. After that, he returned to the UK, playing for Stoke City and then Dundee.
He later played for MSV Duisburg in Germany and Yokohama FC in Japan. Steven then came back to Scotland. He played for Livingston and East Fife. He finished his playing career at Montrose, where he also became a manager for two years.

Steven Tweed's Football Career
Steven Tweed was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He began his professional career with Hibernian in the 1991–92 season. He quickly became a regular player for the team. Over five seasons at Easter Road, he played 126 games and scored five goals.
Playing for Scotland
In 1995, Steven played twice for the Scotland B international team. These games were against Northern Ireland and Sweden, and Scotland won both. He also played for the Scotland U21 team earlier in his career.
Moving Abroad: Greece and England
In 1996, Steven left Hibernian to play for Ionikos in Greece. However, his time there was short, and he only played two games. In the summer of 1997, he returned to Britain. He signed with the English club Stoke City. The 1997–98 season was tough for Stoke City, and they were relegated. Steven played in 44 matches that season.
Back to Scotland and More Abroad Moves
In March 1998, Steven returned to Scotland. He joined Dundee. He spent three seasons playing at Dens Park. In 2001, he moved abroad again. This time, he signed with the German club MSV Duisburg. In January 2009, Steven Tweed took on a new role. He became the player-manager for Montrose. In his first season, Montrose almost made it to the play-offs. During the summer of 2009, Steven brought in 12 new players. He had help from his assistant, Jim Moffatt, and goalkeeping coach, Tony Bullock.
The 2009–10 season was challenging for Montrose. They had a long period without winning in the league. However, they had a good run in the Scottish Cup. This run ended with a 5–1 loss to his former club, Hibernian. Steven won the SFL Manager of the Month award for March 2010. He resigned in March 2011 due to family and work reasons. On June 17, 2011, Steven joined Broughty Athletic, a Scottish junior football club. He left the club on December 17, 2011.
