Stevens Township is a small community in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. In 2010, about 437 people lived there. It's a quiet place with a rich history, settled way back in 1790.

Geography and Location

Stevens Township is found in the eastern part of Bradford County. It shares its borders with several other townships. To the south, you'll find Tuscarora Township. To the southwest is Wyalusing Township. On the west side, it borders Herrick Township, and to the north is Pike Township. To the east, it borders Rush Township in Susquehanna County.

Roads and Waterways

Two main roads run through Stevens Township. Pennsylvania Route 706 travels from the southwest corner to the eastern border. This road follows the path of Wyalusing Creek. This creek is a smaller stream that flows into the larger Susquehanna River. Another road, Pennsylvania Route 467, branches off Route 706. It heads north just east of a small area called Stevensville.

The township covers a total area of about 40.7 square kilometers (about 15.7 square miles). Most of this area, 40.2 square kilometers (15.5 square miles), is land. The rest, about 0.5 square kilometers (0.18 square miles), is water, like creeks and small ponds.
