Stokely Hathaway, born on November 12, 1990, is an American professional wrestling manager and wrestler. A manager in wrestling helps wrestlers by speaking for them or getting involved in their matches. Stokely is currently with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). There, he is known simply as Stokely and manages the tag team FTR. He is also well-known for his time in Evolve and Ring of Honor. He also worked for WWE on their NXT brand, where he managed a group called the Diamond Mine under the name Malcolm Bivens.

Stokely's Wrestling Journey

Stokely Hathaway started his career in professional wrestling in 2014. He has taken on different roles and used different names throughout his journey.

Starting in Ring of Honor (2014–2016)

Stokely's first wrestling match was on April 18, 2014. He teamed up with Moose, but they did not win. Soon after, he joined a group called The Embassy. This group was known for being "heels," which means they played the bad guys in wrestling stories.

Stokely became a manager for the group. He used the name Ramon for a while and famously managed Moose. He left Ring of Honor in March 2016.

Adventures on the Independent Scene (2016–2019)

After leaving Ring of Honor, Stokely Hathaway began working for many different wrestling companies. These companies are often called the "independent circuit." He managed a group known as "The Dream Team." This group included wrestlers like Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF). Stokely also had a storyline rivalry with another popular wrestler, Orange Cassidy.

Time in Evolve Wrestling (2016–2018)

Stokely Hathaway joined Evolve on April 2, 2016. He started as a manager for TJP. Later, he became part of a major group in Evolve called Catch Point. He continued in his role as a manager.

Stokely also had a few matches in Evolve. His career with Evolve ended after a special match called an "I Quit" match. In this type of match, one wrestler wins when the other says "I quit." Even though he had to leave, Stokely made one surprise return in September 2018 for a final match.

Major League Wrestling Experience (2017–2018)

In 2017, Stokely Hathaway also worked for Major League Wrestling (MLW). He managed a group called Black Friday Management. He managed Low Ki before MLW started showing its matches on TV. Because Stokely also worked for Evolve, which had its own TV deal, he had to leave MLW when their TV shows began. MLW explained his departure by saying he was "kidnapped" in the storyline. He made one brief appearance in the crowd later in 2018 but did not return to MLW TV.

Working with WWE (2019–2022)

On March 11, 2019, WWE announced that Stokely Hathaway had joined their company. He started at the WWE Performance Center, which is where wrestlers train. He first managed Babatunde under the name Court Moore.

Later, he changed his name to Malcolm Bivens. He managed several wrestlers, including Rinku Singh and Saurav Gurjar. He became a "villainous" manager on NXT's weekly show. In June 2021, Bivens and another wrestler, Tyler Rust, were revealed to be part of the Diamond Mine group. Stokely Hathaway left WWE on April 29, 2022.

All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor (2022–Present)

Stokely Hathaway made his debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at a big event called Double or Nothing in May 2022. He joined forces with Jade Cargill, who was the TBS Champion at the time. This showed he was playing a "heel" (bad guy) character again.

Leading The Firm (2022–2023)

Before another big event, All Out 2022, Stokely started gathering wrestlers to be his new clients. These included Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty, and Big Bill. His clients helped clear the way for a masked wrestler, who turned out to be Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF). Stokely and MJF had worked together before.

On September 14, 2022, Stokely announced his group was called "The Firm." He said they were MJF's "retainer team," ready to help him whenever needed. However, this partnership did not last long. In October 2022, MJF fired Stokely, and The Firm then turned against MJF.

Stokely also started a long rivalry with Matt Hardy. The Firm gained control of Matt Hardy's contract in a match. Matt Hardy and his tag team partner, Isiah Kassidy, had to join The Firm. Stokely even had a singles match against HOOK, which he lost.

On April 12, 2023, The Firm turned on Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy. They were saved by Hook and a returning Jeff Hardy. This led to a special match called the Firm Deletion match. In this match, The Hardy Boyz, Kassidy, and Hook defeated Stokely and his team. This match effectively ended The Firm group. After this, Stokely was named to the Board of Directors for Ring of Honor.

Managing Kris Statlander (2024)

After working as an authority figure in Ring of Honor, Stokely returned to managing in early 2024. He began working with Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale. He tried hard to get them to accept him as their manager. This partnership seemed to make Stokely a "face" (good guy) character.

However, at Double or Nothing in May 2024, after Willow Nightingale lost a match, Stokely yelled at her. Kris Statlander then pushed Stokely over, making it seem like he was no longer their manager. But moments later, Statlander attacked Nightingale and joined Stokely again. This showed that the earlier events were a trick, and Stokely became a "heel" (bad guy) once more.

At All In in August 2024, Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Stokely and Statlander in a mixed tag team match. After Statlander defeated Nightingale at All Out, Stokely and Statlander went their separate ways.

Managing FTR (2025–Present)

On April 23, 2025, Stokely Hathaway returned to AEW television. He became the new manager for the popular tag team FTR, which includes Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. After this, Stokely's wrestling name was shortened to simply Stokely.
