Street Warriors is an Australian hip hop group. It is made up of two brothers, Abie and Warwick Wright. They come from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
What makes Street Warriors special is that they sing in two languages. They use both English and the Awabakal language. The Awabakal language is spoken by the Aboriginal people from the Newcastle area.

Street Warriors: Their Musical Journey
Starting Out and First Music
In 2007, Street Warriors released their first collection of songs. It was called an EP, which is like a mini-album. This EP was named Real Knows Real.
Two years later, in 2009, they released their first full album. They called it Unstoppable Force. A special event happened when the album was launched. Peter Garrett, a famous Australian musician and politician, helped launch it.
Big Songs and Collaborations
The Unstoppable Force album featured some well-known people. Singer Shannon Noll and boxing champion Anthony Mundine appeared on it.
One of the most famous songs from the album was "Solid Rock". This song was a new version of a classic Australian tune by the band Goanna. Street Warriors sang it with Shannon Noll. This song was very popular and helped them get noticed.
Awards and Recognition
Because of their song "Solid Rock," Street Warriors were nominated for an award. It was for Single of the Year at the Deadly Awards. The Deadly Awards celebrate the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Later, in 2013, the group won a big award. They were named Band of the Year at the Deadly Awards 2013. This showed how much their music was loved and respected.
