The Streetlife Museum of Transport is a super cool place in Kingston upon Hull, England, where you can explore how people and things used to travel! It's a transport museum, which means it's full of old cars, carriages, and other amazing vehicles.
The museum's collection started way back in the early 1900s. But the special building it's in now opened in 1989. A famous local politician named John Prescott, who was a Member of Parliament for Hull East, helped open it. At the museum, you'll see everything from really old cars (called Veteran cars) to beautiful horse-drawn carriages. You can also learn about how people got around Hull using public transport in the past.
The Streetlife Museum is part of a special area in Hull called the Museums Quarter. This area is in the historic Old Town of the city. Besides the Streetlife Museum, you can also find the Hull and East Riding Museum (which is about history and old discoveries), the Arctic Corsair trawler (a big fishing boat you can explore!), and Wilberforce House Museum. All these museums are looked after by Hull Museums, which is part of the local city council.
