Growing Up and Art Studies
Sue Pedley grew up in Launceston, Tasmania. Her mother, Peggy Pedley, helped start the Riverside Pottery Studio there. This studio was a place where people could see art, make pottery, and learn. They often used local clays in their work.
Sue first studied Early Childhood Education. This is about teaching young children. Later, she decided to study art instead. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1985.
