Geography and Location
Sulphur Springs is located in Iowa, between two towns called Storm Lake and Newell. It is about 6 kilometers (or 3.7 miles) east of U.S. Route 71, which is a major road.
A big part of Sulphur Springs is a grain elevator complex. This is a place where farmers store their grain, like corn or soybeans, after harvesting it. This complex is owned by a group of farmers who work together. It is located right next to the Canadian National Railway tracks. This railway line is very important because it connects big cities like Chicago and Sioux City. So, Sulphur Springs plays a small but important role in moving grain across the country!
