What Can You Do at Summer Waves?
Summer Waves has lots of exciting rides and attractions for everyone, whether you love thrilling slides or just want to relax. Let's dive into some of the cool things you can do there!
Thrilling Water Slides
If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, Summer Waves has some awesome slides that will get your heart pumping!
Pirate's Passage: The Tallest Slide
Get ready for a big splash on Pirate's Passage! This is the tallest slide in the park, standing five stories high. Imagine zooming down from that height – it's a real adventure!
Hurricane and Tornado: Twisty Rides
The Hurricane and Tornado slides are both curving rides that send you on a wild journey. You'll twist and turn as you speed down for about 330 feet (that's over 100 meters!). They are perfect for those who love a good spin.
Force 3 Group: Thunder, Lightning, and Flash Flood
The park has a special group of three slides called the Force 3. Each one offers a different kind of excitement:
- Thunder will send you spiraling down a 150-foot (about 45-meter) path. It's the first slide in this exciting group.
- Lightning is a super steep slide that drops you down 32 feet (about 10 meters) really fast. Hold on tight!
- Flash Flood is the last slide in the Force 3 group. It has slower, winding curves, making it a fun ride for those who enjoy a more relaxed but still exciting journey.
Fun for Everyone
Summer Waves isn't just about big slides; it also has areas where you can chill out or play with younger kids.
Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool: Ride the Waves
The Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool is a huge pool where you can experience ocean-like waves without being at the beach! It's a fantastic spot for the whole family to splash around and have fun together.
Turtle Creek: A Relaxing River Ride
Want to take it easy? Hop on a tube and float along Turtle Creek. This half-mile long river gently winds around the park at a calm speed of about 3 miles per hour (around 5 kilometers per hour). It's a great way to relax and see the park from a different view.
Sharktooth Cove: A New Adventure Zone
Sharktooth Cove is one of the newest and most exciting additions to Summer Waves. This area replaced the old Kiddie Pool and now features over eight different slides and interactive play areas. It's designed for lots of splashing and fun, especially for younger visitors and families.
Splash Zone: Kids' Play Area
The Splash Zone is the perfect place for the park's youngest visitors. It's a special section designed just for children, with smaller slides and water features that are safe and super fun for little ones to enjoy.
