Meet Little Miss Sunbeam

Sunbeam has a very famous and cute character called Little Miss Sunbeam. She has been the brand's mascot for a long time. In 1942, an artist named Ellen Barbara Segner was asked to create a symbol for the brand. She drew many pictures of young children.

After six months, she found a girl in Southern Indiana who became the first Little Miss Sunbeam. The picture of Little Miss Sunbeam during the holidays first appeared on billboards in the 1950s. A company called Flowers Foods, which sells a lot of Sunbeam bread, has used this holiday image since 2001. You can see her on billboards and bread bags during the holiday season.
