Sunrise was a popular TV show in New Zealand. It was a breakfast programme that showed live news and important topics. You could watch it on TV3 every weekday morning. The show ran from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. It covered the latest news, sports, business, and weather.

TV3 decided to stop Sunrise on April 8, 2010. They said it cost too much money to keep it going. The presenters said goodbye to viewers on April 9, 2010, at 7:00 AM.

How the Show Worked

Sunrise had a special way of sharing information. It included news, sports, and weather updates every 30 minutes.

Show Segments

In between the updates, the show featured interviews. They talked with newsmakers, famous people, and others with interesting stories. There were also short updates about business news.

Changes in Hosts

When Sunrise first started, Carly Flynn and James Coleman were the main hosts. James Coleman left the show in September 2008. After that, Oliver Driver became Carly's new co-host starting in October 2008.

Talking with Guests

Sunrise had a unique style compared to other shows. Instead of just one person asking questions, both hosts would often start discussions with guests. This made the interviews feel more like a friendly chat.
