Surprise! It's Edible Incredible! is a fun Canadian game show made just for kids! It was created by Apartment 11 Productions. In this show, kids get to play exciting food-themed challenges. The main host is Julie Zwillich, and she's joined by Mike Paterson, who plays the funny character Mr. Gross. Chef Alex Orlando is also a big part of the show, especially when it comes to cooking.

What Happens on the Show?
Every week, two kids get to be the stars of Surprise! It's Edible Incredible!. They arrive at the studio to a big "Surprise!" from their friends, complete with ribbons and streamers.
The Food Hunt Challenge
The game starts with a video showing host Julie or Mr. Gross visiting the contestants' homes. They talk to the parents to find out which foods the kids love and which ones they really don't like. After this, the contestants face their first big challenge. They race around the studio, looking for different foods on a special list. They have to guess if they have found the correct items or not.
The Grosstacle Course
During the food hunt, Julie announces a "Grosstacle!" This means the kids must stop what they are doing and face a gross-out challenge. Often, this involves eating some of the foods they dislike! In the second season, if they completed a Grosstacle, they could pick an item for their food list. After the Grosstacle, they go back to searching for the foods they need.
Another Grosstacle then happens, but this time it's a physical challenge. The first person to finish and hit their button gets their collected items checked by Mr. Gross. He makes sure they found all the right foods.
The Cooking Ring Showdown
Next, the contestants move to the "Cooking Ring" for a cooking challenge! They get to choose two friends from the audience to help them. Together, they use the foods they collected to create a dish.
Chef Alex Orlando then tastes and rates their dishes. After that, small samples of their food are given to a special group called the "Taste Buds" to try.
Who Wins the Grand Prize?
In the end, the contestant whose dish gets the highest ratings wins an exciting "outdoor adventure" trip! Even if they don't win the trip, both players get a cool gift just for being on the show.
In one special episode from Season 2, Julie and Mr. Gross competed against each other. Julie won and had a choice: pick one of the two trips or take a mystery prize. She chose the mystery prize, which turned out to be an invitation to Chef Alex's dressing room for a huge 75-course feast! This feast included dishes that past contestants had made on the show.
