Svay Rieng (Khmer: ស្វាយរៀង) is a province in Cambodia. A province is like a large region or state within a country. Svay Rieng is located in the southeast part of Cambodia. It borders Vietnam on three sides: north, east, and south. The only other Cambodian province it touches is Prey Veng.
The capital city of Svay Rieng province is Svay Rieng. The largest city in the province is Bavet. Bavet is an important place because it's where Cambodia and Vietnam share an international border.

Geography: The Parrot's Beak

Culture: The Coconut Dance
Svay Rieng province is famous for being the home of the Cambodian coconut dance. This special dance started around 1960 in a place called Romeas Haek District.
