Swoope's Music Journey

Swoope started his music career in 2010. He released an EP called Applause Vol. 1. An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs than a full album. He also released a song called "Actions Speak Louder" that year.

In 2011, Swoope released two more EPs: Spring Fling and Spring Fling Instrumentals. He followed up with the EP Boys R Us in 2012.

First Albums

Swoope's first full-length album, Wake Up, came out on March 20, 2012. It was released with Collision Records. His next album, Sinema, was released on August 5, 2014. This album was also with Collision Records.

After Sinema, Swoope released a free EP called "Because You Asked" in October 2014. He also put out two mixtapes, "The Zoo" and "A.I.R.: The Abstract Intellect Revolution."

Independent Music

In February 2016, Swoope announced that he had left Collision Records. He then started releasing music on his own. His album Sonshine was released independently on February 2, 2018. This album was very personal for Swoope. He shared his feelings about dealing with sadness and his experiences as a Black man in America. Through his music, he found new meaning and hope in his faith.

One of Swoope's songs, "Beauty and the Beast," was chosen as the iTunes Single of the Week in August 2014. This helped more people discover his music.
