Sy Richardson (born in 1941) is an American actor who has appeared in many films and TV shows. He has also written two movie scripts, including the one for the 1993 film Posse.

Early Life and Education
Sy Richardson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Chicago. He went to Farragut Career Academy for high school. After that, he served for two years in the United States Navy.
He continued his education at Kennedy–King College, where he earned a degree in black history and music in 1972. Later, in 1975, he got a degree in journalism, focusing on advertising, from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Acting Career Highlights
Sy Richardson is well-known for his roles in movies directed by Alex Cox. Some of these films include Repo Man, Sid and Nancy, and Straight to Hell. He also played the character "Turbo" in the 1990 movie Tripwire.
