Sábado à Noite (which means Saturday Night) is the second music album by the Brazilian duo Sandy & Junior. It was released in 1992 by record companies Philips and PolyGram. This album continued the musical style they were known for: sertanejo and country music.
The pictures for the album cover and inside the album were taken in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is a famous city in the United States for country music. This album also features two special guest artists. Ney Matogrosso sings on the song "O Vira." Chitãozinho & Xororó join Sandy & Junior on the song "Vamos Construir." One of the biggest hits from this album was "A Resposta da Mariquinha." It became a single and is still one of the duo's most famous songs.
Some reports say that the album sold around 310,000 copies. This would have earned it a "gold record" award. However, the official music organization in Brazil, Pro-Música Brasil (PMB), did not give it a special award.
