Starting His Career
Taichi Hasegawa was born in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, on February 26, 1981. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Albirex Niigata in 1999. This club had just moved up to the J2 League, which is a professional football league in Japan.
Playing for Albirex Niigata
Hasegawa played as a midfielder for Albirex Niigata. He played in a few matches between 1999 and 2001. However, he did not get to play in many games. He left the club at the end of the 2001 season.
University and Later Career
In 2002, Taichi Hasegawa went to Kokushikan University. After graduating from university, he joined a local club called Valiente Toyama in 2006. This club played in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower-level leagues in Japan.
In 2006, he played in many matches for Valiente Toyama. However, in 2007, he had fewer chances to play. At the end of the 2007 season, Taichi Hasegawa decided to retire from playing professional football.
